Calico Kitten's swirl templates is a great alternative to stitching in the ditch. Swirl 1 is great for 2 - 4 inch squares. Digitally printed and laser cut from 1/4 inch acrylic. Fabric Gripping Action is applied to one side of the template. Can be used to stitch around on Long-, Mid-, and Short-arm machines (both Stand Up and Sit Down) and High Shank Home machines with the appropriate ruler foot attached. Make sure your ruler foot will clear 1/4 inch acrylic. If not, consider using a thinner acrylic (see our 3/16 inch templates or 1/8 inch templates). Can be used for drawing and cutting around as well.
