3/16" TEMPLATES

Home Machine Quilting Templates (aka rulers) are laser cut from clear 3/16" acrylic. These tools are designed to enhance the home machine quilters ability to lay down accurate repeatable design lines, fill, and border designs. These templates work well on most Low Shank Home machines with the appropriate ruler foot. Be sure your ruler foot will clear 3/16 inch acrylic or cannot hop on top of it. If either of these can occur, consider using a different thickness of acrylic: 1/4 inch acrylic templates which are thicker (Machine Quilting Tools) or 1/8 inch acrylic which is thinner (Design Tools). Home Machine Quilting tools can be used for drawing and/or cutting around as well. They are not considered safe for Long-, Mid-, or Short-arm machines or any machine on which the ruler foot hops.

Sue Nickels has been using rulers for machine quilting on the home machine and teaching ruler classes for a few years. She developed these rulers to use on the home machine, but they also can be used for longarm machine quilting. Sue's rulers have fabric gripping action on the back to grip the quilt so there is no slipping (It really works) They also have easy to see (EZ2C) lines for many placement options.
