Calico Kitten's swirl templates is a great alternative to stitching in the ditch. Swirl 1 is great for 2 - 4 inch squares. Digitally printed with registration lines and laser cut from 1/8 inch acrylic. Safe on most Low Shank Home Machines with the appropriate ruler foot attached. Make sure your ruler foot cannot hop on top of 1/8 inch acrylic. If it can, consider using a thicker acrylic (see our 3/16 inch or 1/4 inch templates).
