The Vest Year Ever by Jackie Boroff
My goal was to create designs for The Vest Year Ever that could be made by anybody having a sewing machine that does a basic zig zag stitch with an adjustable stitch length and width. Basic applique instructions are included, so a person who has never done applique can complete any of these vest designs.
The book includes vests with a variety of threads, fabrics, and designs, ranging from elegant to casual. There are designs suitable for a whole family with instructions for adapting the applique motifs for use on vests for men and chldren. The book includes a basic vest pattern for women in sizes small through extra large. All of the applique designs are adaptable to other garments.
